2024 Regular Season Results
🧨 A Season of Chaos and Comedy
The 2024 Rondy Fantasy Football League brought more drama than a Netflix reunion episode. From the very first kickoff, Adam and Chris traded monster scores and weekly High Score Bonuses like they were playing catch in the backyard. Rob hung around like a seasoned vet, while Andy found early footing—before stumbling later like someone trying to run in cleats on ice. Meanwhile, DJ and Jason were practically fantasy ghosts... until they weren’t.
Lineup blunders, kicker miracles, and Farley Rule fines made this season one big roast with a side of heartbreak. And of course, there was the “Win’s a Win” bonus, rewarding whoever scraped by with the most pathetic victories. Rob and Andy wore that badge with pride.
💥 Midseason Mayhem & a Cluttered Playoff Race
From Weeks 6 to 10, everything became a blur of injuries, benching disasters, and shocking waiver steals. DJ, once written off, clawed back with a win streak that had the league on high alert. Jason violated roster laws so many times he might need a fantasy lawyer next season.
Adam and Chris kept racking up wins (and cash), but the playoff bubble was pure chaos. Andy’s grip on the 4th spot slipped fast. Josh led all bubble teams in Points For but kept losing heartbreakers. And then came Matt—quiet, scrappy, somehow still in it, thanks to divine intervention and Taysom Hill.
🍗 Thanksgiving Turnarounds and Bonus-Fueled Drama
Week 12 turned the league upside down. DJ beat Andy. Jason took down Rob. Josh dropped a huge score. Suddenly, the bottom dwellers were carving up the playoff table like a deep-fried turkey. By Week 13, DJ was stealing bonuses by 0.15 points over Jason, while playoff spots hung in the balance. Andy’s collapse intensified, and DJ’s miracle run gained steam. Rob and Adam remained poised, while Matt kept clinging to the playoff picture with duct tape and Taysom Hill.
Andy was sliding. DJ was surging. Rob and Adam chilled in the top tier while everyone else panicked. Only Chris had clinched a spot. The rest? Fighting for scraps.
🎯 Final Week Fireworks & Championship Glory
Week 15 gave us everything: DJ vs. Andy in a win-or-go-home classic. DJ dropped 168 points, capping off a heroic late-season push—but Andy held firm, surviving with a razor-thin margin thanks to Minnesota’s defense and the eternal mediocrity of the Chicago Bears.
Then came the semifinals. Rob unleashed a 197-point sledgehammer to end Adam’s season. Andy, meanwhile, pulled off the upset of the year, knocking out #1 seed Chris behind Lamar Jackson’s brilliance and a full team firing on all cylinders.
And then—Championship Week. Andy entered as the underdog yet again, squaring off against Rob’s battle-tested squad. Rob started strong, but Andy's team came alive like it was written in the stars. Lamar Jackson, Mike Evans, DeVonta Smith, and Adam Thielen each found the end zone in a full-team barrage that left no doubt. Andy didn’t just win—he stormed to victory, closing out the season on a three-game playoff heater and lifting the title in his first-ever finals appearance.
All hail Andy Holley, your 2024 Rondy Fantasy Football Champion. From playoff bubble to league royalty, Andy’s run was the stuff of fantasy legend.
🎤 Legacy, Losers & Looking Ahead
Chris may not have taken home the regular season title, but he did win the Survivor bonus, outlasting the field with consistency and big scores when it mattered most. Adam claimed the most weekly High Score bonuses, and Rob punched his playoff ticket with clutch late-season performances. Andy rose from the ashes to become league champ, while Jason avoided total infamy by delivering his best week when it mattered least.
And then there’s DJ. Once considered a potential comeback story, he ended up stuck in the loser bracket and lost the final consolation match, earning the dubious honor of hosting next year’s draft party. DJ, get the folding chairs ready—your house is now the league’s official venue.
This league remains a glorious mess. Fines, bonuses, last-minute miracles, and more group chat sarcasm than any of us deserve. Thanks for another epic season—see you at the draft.
2023 Regular Season Results
The Consistency Award goes to DJ. He grabbed on to 1st Place in week 1 with both hands, and never let go. He knocked out 9 wins on the bounce before suffering his first defeat to Adam in week 10. He may feel slightly nervous, having taken his foot off the gas and losing his last two matchups.
Matt was similarly consistent, desperately holding on to 7th place the first two weeks, before parking himself in the basement and never leaving.
Chris also had a pretty smooth ride. Launching himself in to 2nd place in week 4 and never really leaving. He had a quick scare in week 10, falling to 5th, but promptly pulled himself up by his boot-straps.
Adam was in the playoff mix all season, only falling below 4th place twice, in week 9 and week 14.
Josh had a volatile season, bouncing from 2nd, to 7th, to 3rd, back to 7th, before settling in the 4th – 5th range. His squeaky bum victory over Jason in the final week allowed him to slip in to the final playoff spot.
Andy’s season is a tale of two halves. He was as high as 2nd and 3rd in the first half of the season, then fell to 7th, and never got above 6th in the 2nd half.
Rob should consider firing his team’s Manager, not once did he ever occupy the top 4. He and Matt are the only ones to not flirt with the playoff spots at least once.
After a rough start to the season, Jason found himself in 7th place in week 5. He then went on a 5 game win-streak, also winning 7 out of the next 8. Unfortunately for him, he lost his final 2 matchups, and just missed out on the playoffs.
Congratulations to DJ, Chris, Adam and Josh for making the playoffs!
