Week 8 Recap

Well, DJ keeps on winning. He also wins the weekly high score bonus with 171.6 points, his 3rd time.

Matt can not catch a break, putting up the 3rd most points this week, with 143.3, but still finding the L against Jason, who put up the 2nd most points.

Chris gets knocked out of Survivor, scoring 1.75 points less than Adam over weeks 7 & 8 cumulatively. Andy, Jason, DJ and Adam are in the final four.

Josh took a hit, with Kirk Cousins out for the season. With Kyler Murray still out, and Trevor Lawrence on a Bye week, he’ll have to make a move.

DJ has all but officially locked up his playoff berth, he is 99% in.

Chris (74%), Adam (72%), Jason (69%) and Josh (46%) will most likely make up the final 3 playoff spots. Rob (22%) and Andy (16%) are long shots, but certainly not out of it yet.

Matt is still not technically out of the playoffs, but surely week 9 is his last chance. ESPN Analytics say he has a 1% chance of getting in. He’ll have to take down DJ in week 9 (bad luck that) to stay alive, and without his 1.01 pick McCaffrey, who is on a Bye week (why didn’t you start Najee?!?!)

This seems like an appropriate time to remind everyone of “The Farley Rule”, which states:

“Managers are expected to maintain their rosters and lineups on a weekly basis. Starting a competitive lineup maintains the integrity of the league, and ensures that we have an enjoyable and fair fantasy football experience.”

Please continue to start a competitive lineup, despite your bleak, or non-existent, playoff hopes...
