🎄 A Rondy Royal Rumble Christmas Tale — Week 16 🎄

“Twas the week before finals, when all through the league,

Not a manager was sleeping — all filled with fatigue…”

Twas the week of the semis, and all through the app,

Owners were cursing, and calling their matchups a trap.

The lineups were set, with fingers crossed tight,

In hopes that their Monday, would end with delight.

Adam and Chris met again in a duel,

With glory ahead, and heartbreak the rule.

Walker struck first, with a Thursday night score,

Tet and Chase followed, but Chris had much more.

JSN dazzled, like Rudolph mid-flight,

And James Cook rumbled, with Buffalo might.

But Adam had hope — he prayed Maye would fall short,

Then JT must shine bright, it was his last resort.

But Maye found rhythm, and Taylor was tamed,

And Adam’s bright season, it went up in flames.

So Chris, with a smirk, and a sleigh full of luck,

Advanced to the finals — while Adam was stuck.

Then Chad and brave Andy, faced off in the snow,

With playoff dreams twinkling, and tension aglow.

Josh Allen, the engine of Chad’s whole affair,

Decided Week 16 was the time not to care.

Andy’s team battled, with gumption and flair,

And Kittle on Monday, made Chad’s lead seem so frail.

A comeback seemed near, as the candles burned low,

But then came Jennings, with touchdown in tow.

Like Jacob Marley in chains, dragging his seasons full weight,

Jennings showed Andy his unfortunate fate.

And Chad, with a whisper and sly little grin,

Danced off to the finals, a shot at the win.

In the backroom of shame, where the toilets do swirl,

Rob and Jason gave survival a whirl.

Rob dropped a bomb, 169 points strong,

And Jason’s great effort, still ended all wrong.

Matt beat up DJ, in a game full of pain,

Three thirty-point players,  crashed down like the rain.

Now Jason and DJ, face off once again,

for draft hosting duties, it of course had to be them.

The season’s near over, just one week to go,

Before victors are crowned, and the draft host we’ll know.

Christmas blessings to all, as the ending draws near,

Let’s raise a glass high, to this dumb game we cheer.  🍻
