Week 7 Recap

Alright, this is a busy week, so I've phoned this one in. Enjoy!

🪦 Matt (1-6) vs. Adam (5-2)

Matt finally rose from the ashes and dropped the 3rd-highest score of the week… which would’ve been exciting if he hadn’t run straight into Adam’s buzzsaw. Adam posted 189 points like it was nothing, stealing the win and any joy Matt may have had left.

Lions D and Amon-Ra made it interesting Monday night, but reality hit harder than Matt’s luck: No miracle. No momentum. Just another loss. But hey, he’s only 3 games out of a playoff spot. So technically alive. Barely.

🧼 Chad (5-2) vs. DJ (2-5)

Chad somehow won this game while barely breaking 104 points.

Chad started the season hot. Now? He’s hanging on by a thread and a prayer. DJ continues his downward spiral and is now being personally hunted by the A Wins a Win bonus tracker. Chad wins the ugliest game in league history. DJ loses the will to compete.

🚀 Jason (3-4) vs. Chris (3-4)

Jason: last week’s lowest scorer. This week? He nearly dropped a 200-burger.

It was a pure massacre. Chris had no chance — and that’s saying something for a team that’s usually competitive. He’s now lost two straight and has been unceremoniously booted from the playoff bracket.

Jason, meanwhile, has officially rejoined the league. He’s dangerous again. Hide your kickers.

🪑 Rob (4-3) vs. Andy (5-2)

Andy without Lamar Jackson is like Batman without a utility belt. He scraped together just over 100 points, making Rob’s job easier than a Thursday night sit/start decision.

Rob didn’t even have to break a sweat to win. Just showed up, let Andy trip over himself, and took the dub.

Andy’s once-mighty empire is starting to crumble. Rob cruises to 4-3.

💸 Bonus Round

💯 Weekly High Score

Jason drops a 196.4 hammer, putting himself back on the map.$10 and street cred secured. Matt and Adam both showed out too — but 2nd and 3rd still get you nothing but regret.

🧼 Biggest Blowout

Jason nearly stole it with his demolition of Chris, but Adam’s Week 3 execution of DJ still reigns supreme.

🏃 A Win’s a Win

Chad’s 114-point "victory" in Week 6 was pathetic. This week? 104 points. And he still won.

He’s now the undisputed king of sad wins. But fair warning — at some point, someone will score more than 100 points against him.

☠️ Survivor Pool Watch

Adam and Matt are safe after big weeks. Chris scored 131 and likely survives another day.

But Chad and Andy? They’re hanging by a thread, both scoring barely over 100. One of them’s going down in Week 8.
