Twas the Week before Championships

‘Twas the week before finals, and all through the league,

Four teams sought the title, their hopes taking the lead.

The rosters were set with precision and care,

In hopes that a championship soon would be theirs.

The semi-finals loomed, the pressure was tight,

Would Rob or would Adam make magic that night?

And on Andy’s side, an underdog’s dream,

Chris, the top seed, faced his toughest regime.

For Adam, the start was a thing to behold,

Justin Jefferson’s 36 points, his lineup looked gold.

De’Von Achane dashed, a true holiday gift,

While his Defense’s 26 gave Adam a lift.

But alas! In this game, the stakes are so cruel,

As Jalen Hurts faltered, his head took the duel.

Four points from his QB was all Adam got,

And Rob’s team ignited—a blazing onslaught.

One hundred and ninety-seven, Rob’s best of the year,

His players stood tall and his victory clear.

Now Rob marches onward, his goal set in sight,

The first two-time champ? We’ll see in next week’s fight.

Now turn to the clash of the top and the scrappy,

Andy faced Chris, and things didn’t look happy.

But oh, how the tables of football can turn,

Lamar and Chuba made Chris feel the burn.

Jerome Ford was quick, Miami’s kicker was clutch,

Even Santa himself couldn’t match Andy’s touch.

While Chris fought with valor, his QB went dim,

Josh Allen’s poor outing was the end for him.

So Andy advances, his first finals dance,

A win in his future? Perhaps there’s a chance.

For now, it’s Rob and it’s Andy who stand tall,

One step from the trophy, it's winner take all.

And down in the depths of the consolation fight,

Josh bested DJ, Matt did Jason in spite.

Next week the losers will tussle, those two left in the cold,

To host next year’s draft—and break bread (or be trolled).

So here’s to the matchups,

the thrills, and the fall,

A championship for one,

but a Merry Christmas to all!
